Christin and Brian’s Yesterday Spaces wedding in Asheville, NC took place on a gorgeous day in May. This couple met when Christin and her friends were on vacation and accidentally crashed the afterparty of Brian’s brother’s wedding. She laughs when she talks about meeting Brian and ALL of his family that night. The couple stayed in touch and Brian eventually moved to NC to be with Christin while she finished her residency. One night following dinner at Christin’s favorite restaurant they decided to take their two dogs (see photo below) for a walk in the playground by their house. There on the balance beam, Brian asked Christin to be his wife!
When I met them at Battery Park Book Exchange we just clicked. The couple has a shared love of the outdoors and travel so they knew Asheville was the perfect place for a destination wedding. They looked at few venues, but fell in love with Yesterday Spaces. Christin knew that she wanted color when it came to the space. She chose shades of blues, yellows, pink and oranges then Stacey at Bloom Room brought it to life. The flowers were hung from birdcages and spilled from vases on all the tables-it was amazing. All those pops of color fit the couple’s bright personalities.
The night was filled with great music from Atlanta Rhythm and Groove, delicious food from Colorful Palate and sweet treats from Sugar Cloud Baking Company. I am so happy to share just some of my favorite images that Two Ring Studios captured of this amazing day! One of my favorite moments from that day was there first look where they stood back to back and read each other’s letters before the saw the other one.
