I didn't become a wedding planner because I love weddings. I became one because I love hospitality: the quiet work of making sure everyone in the room is looked after, and no one can tell how much thought went into it.
For fifteen years, that instinct has shaped Two Sweet Sparrows into a luxury wedding planning studio for couples marrying at the Biltmore Estate, Asheville, and the finest venues across Western North Carolina.
I spent nine years at the Biltmore Estate as Senior Sales Manager, planning weddings across the estate's venues and leading the teams behind more than eighty celebrations a year. It was the best education I could have asked for. You learn quickly what makes an event feel effortless, and what makes one quietly fall apart, when you've done it at that volume on grounds that leave no room for error.
In 2011, I left to build something smaller and more personal. I wanted to work with a limited number of couples each year, know every detail of their weekend myself, and be the person actually standing there on the day. Not a name on a contract who hands you off to an associate.
Fifteen years later, that's still exactly how Two Sweet Sparrows works.

Preferred Vendor at the Venues That Matter
Nine years inside Biltmore's own wedding operation, plus fifteen years of relationships across the region: Biltmore Estate, Biltmore Forest Country Club, Omni Grove Park Inn, the Vineyards at Betty's Creek, Lake Toxaway, and many other venues throughout the region.
One Wedding Per Weekend. Direct Access.
You won't be passed to a junior planner or a day-of coordinator you've never met. When you book Two Sweet Sparrows, you get me, from the first conversation to the final farewell.
The Guests Matter as Much as the Couple
A wedding is only seamless if the people who traveled to be there had a genuinely good weekend. I plan for them too: the welcome, the logistics, the small comforts they'll remember as a whole.

Sparrows was founded
"She was recommended to us by the Biltmore Estate itself. She is second to none. She knew everything there was to know about the venue and about wedding planning in Asheville and in general. She truly, truly brought our dream to life. All million moving parts."Kristen · October Wedding at the Biltmore Estate
Two Sweet Sparrows is based in Asheville and plans weddings throughout Western North Carolina, including Biltmore Estate, Biltmore Forest Country Club, Omni Grove Park Inn, the Vineyards at Betty's Creek, and Lake Toxaway. I'm also now taking a limited number of weddings in the Highlands and Cashiers area, including Old Edwards Inn, the Farm at Old Edwards, and Lonesome Valley.
When I'm not planning a wedding, I'm at home with my partner Galen and our dogs: Hazel, Finn, and Maeby (our sweet old lady). We travel when we can, cook more than we eat out, and hold the firm belief that life is too short for salad when there's a good steak and a good glass of wine or bourbon on the table.
I care about the same things in a wedding that I care about everywhere else: real hospitality, good people, and getting the details right so no one else has to think about them.
