Courtenay & PJ’s romantic Biltmore wedding at Lioncrest was stunning. The couple met at the horse stables Courtenay owns and the rest is history. They call Texas home, but Courtenay grew up spending her vacations at their family’s summer home in Western North Carolina so these mountains have a forever home in her memories. They wanted a destination wedding and knew Biltmore in Asheville would be the perfect place.
The day was soft, romantic and gorgeous. The couple decided to have their closest friends and family (including the furry ones) join them to celebrate their big day. The only wedding party they had were their two dogs, her mom’s dog (one of many) and PJ’s sweet little girl. I must admit that one of my favorite images is the three of them during the ceremony, holding hands with their heads bowed in prayer. Lioncrest was draped with lush floral by Floressence . There were beautiful copper and blush colored accents, big candle lanterns, textured ivory linens and even a stunning hanging floral piece over the dance floor. It was breathtaking! The evening was full of delicious food, drinks and sweets provided by the talked Chef Kirk at Biltmore. I was so honored when Grey Likes Wedding featured this wedding on their own blog!
