Weddings at Vineyards at Betty’s Creek always end up on my top 10 list! When Emily contacted me in the fall of 2018 to plan her Fall 2019 wedding, I knew it was going to be gorgeous simply because of the location. The couple met while in college in 2008 and had been fearlessly voyaging through life together until deciding to begin their biggest journey yet, getting married in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The wedding ultimately became a perfect reflection of the couple’s feelings for one another: effortless, timeless, romantic and adventurous.
I loved working with Emily. She walked into each planning session knowing what she liked. During the creative process, she made stylish decisions at every turn. I enjoyed chatting with her and her mom about the wedding and how to make each detail a symbolic reflection of the couple’s love. They ended up with an amazing band (The Business Band), delicious Southern-style fare (from Black Eyed Susan), and so many other inspired details. Thankfully, the talented Alicia White Photography was there to capture it all.
